As previously announced, Gran Habano has opened a new cigar factory in Miami. To celebrate the grand opening of the new Gran Habano - G.R. Tabacaleras Co. cigar factory on "Calle Ocho", there will be live music, cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and of course - great smokes. If you will be in South Florida on March 2, 2012, then find your way to 1792 SW 8th St. in Miami and join the celebration. The party kicks off at 7:00PM.

New Cigars From Nat Sherman

Nat Sherman recently launched The Bench, a limited-edition collection of cigars that includes The Legacy Series - created to celebrate the Shermans' most loyal employees. Sam Perry, who has worked at Nat Sherman for more than two decades, is the first employee to be honored. In 21 years of working for the brand, Sam has gone from stockroom duty to serving the likes of Bill Cosby and Charles Barkley and now having a cigar named after him. After starting in the stockroom back in 1990, Sam was quickly promoted to sales associate - winning over, in addition to Mr. Cosby and Mr. Barkley, such legendary customers as Milton Berle and Sammy "The Bull" Gravano to name a few. To show its appreciation, Nat Sherman created "The Sam," a 6x50 Toro -- Sam's favorite -- featuring a blend of filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Peru. A Dominican binder and Ecuadorian-grown Connecticut wrapper finish this off. The cigar, available in boxes of ten for $79.25 plus tax, will be available again in March after quickly selling out during its initial run in December.
