Call of Duty Ghosts Reveal Trailer Released

Infinity Ward and Activision took the wraps off of the Call of Duty Ghosts today at the Xbox One reveal event hosted by Microsoft. The two and a half minute trailer shows off some pretty amazing looking graphics with some cinematic cut scenes as well as what appears to be some in game footage. The game is being called a "stunning leap forward for consol gaming" by Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg and the game will be launched on Xbox One with exculsive content. The game will also be released for the Playstation 4, PC and current gen game console systems as well on November 5, 2013.

The trailer gives a brief monologue on soldiers and in addition to showing friendly canines, makes mention of 10 years having past, it's unclear if that means it is a continuation of the Modern Warfare series of Call of Duty series and makes no mention of any of the characters but if rumors hold true then Call of Duty Ghosts will feature a new set of characters. Call of Duty Ghosts, FIFA 14, Assassin's Creed To Be Previewed Today

The latest Call of Duty game from Infinity Ward, Call of Duty Ghosts, will be previewed today at the Xbox event that will unveil Microsoft's next generation console. Details on what will be showcased is still all speculation but there's a good bet that a new trailer will be release as well as information on the story and some basic features as well as showcasing the new Call of Duty game engine and it's capabilities on the Xbox One console. In addition to Call of Duty Ghosts, there will also be previews from EA and Ubisoft, which will showcase FIFA 14 and Assassin's Creed: Black Flag. Be sure to check back later today for additional information and media that's released to coincide with today's event.

Bethesda Unwraps Wolfenstein: The New Order

Last week Bethesda Softworks announced Wolfenstein The New Order for release during Q4 2013 and will feature the famous B.J. Blazkowicz as the character players will control. Set in 1960, the game takes place in an alternative history in which the Nazi's have won World War II and have developed advanced and mysterious weaponry that helped them conquer the globe. Once again it is up to B.J. Blazkowicz to counter the Nazi regime and save the world.

A Wolfenstein The New Order announcement trailer along with some screenshots were also released with the announcement. The trailer doesn't include much in terms of actual in game footage until the end which shows some mechanized robots towering over, a ready to fight, B.J. Blazkowicz. Company of Heroes 2 Red Star Edition Detailed

Relic Entertainment released details on what will be included in the "Red Star" edition of the high anticipated World War 2 Real Time Strategy game Company of Heroes 2. It will include two dozen historically accurate vehicle skins for use in the multiplayer mode. The Company of Heroes 2 Red Star edition also includes the Theatre of War Mini pack and new multiplayer commanders for all factions. Finally, another bonus is that it will come bundled with the original Company of Heroes as well as the two expansion packs, Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valor.

Company of Heroes 2 is scheduled for release from Relic Entertainment and SEGA on June 25, 2013.

Call of Duty Ghosts Officially Confirmed by Activision

Through the release of promotional image and GameStop pre orders as well as a Tweet from the Call of Duty Twitter page, Activision has confirmed the next title in the Call of Duty series, which most of us have unoffically known for the past few weeks or more. The new game called Call of Duty Ghosts is currently in development by Infinity Ward and the GameStop pre-order page hints at a release date of Tuesday November 5th, which lines up with previous Call of Duty releases.

In addition to the promotional content and tweet, there is also a Call of Duty Ghosts facebook page, which teases a reveal on May 21, 2013 at the worldwide Xbox reveal. This points to the game being available for both current and next gen consoles as well as the PC platform.

Call of Duty Ghosts Leaked By Retailer...

Unofficial third party leaks seem to happen all the time in the video game industry and the Call of Duty series seems to have more than it's fair share. The latest leak comes from a no removed listing from British super-retailer Tesco. The posting lists a new Call of Duty game called Call of Duty Ghosts set to be released in December by developer Infinity Ward. That's the extent of the posting, this seems to line up with the bi-annual swap of Call of Duty releases between Infinity Ward and Treyarch since Treyarch is the current torch bearer with Call of Duty Black Ops 2. The listing also included box art for both the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions. I would expect a typical November release rather than December, but things could be up in the air based on if this is being released for both current and next gen consoles.

As expected there has been no official announcement from Activision or Infinity Ward, but this may spur an early announcement from them.

Grand Theft Auto V Teaser Trailers Teased by Rockstar

There's nothing like having a teaser trailer "teased" for a video game, but that's exactly what Rockstar Games has done. Over on Rockstar's official video page they have a simple screenshot stating "Michael. Franklin. Trevor. Trailers 4.30" which if translated correctly, announces the upcoming release of three teaser trailers covering each of the three playable characters that will be in the upcoming Grand Theft Auto V game. Previous GTAV trailers have been teased in similar fashion. Be sure to check back next week for trailer links.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Mob of the Dead Trailer

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Mob of the Dead is a zombies multiplayer map included in the Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Uprising DLC. Set in Alcatraz Prison in 1933 players will take on the role of one of four inmates who upon escape discover the prison and island itself has been overrun with zombies. The two and a half minute trailer gives a little background into each of the characters background, narrated by Ray Liotta, as it then goes into scenes of firefights and zombie slaughter we've come to know and expect from Call of Duty Zombies.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Uprising DLC - Mob of the Dead

Last week Treyarch and Activision released the second downloadable content pack for Call of Duty Black Ops 2 called Uprising. The Call of Duty Black Ops II Uprising DLC contains four new multiplayer maps and one new zombie map called Mob of the Dead. As with all the previous Call of Duty DLC packs, Uprising is currently an Xbox 360 exclusive with the PS3 and PC versions expected to be released in a month or so. The most anticipated portion of the Uprising DLC is the zombies map called Mob of the Dead.

Mob of the Dead

is set on Alcatraz Island/Prison in 1933 and similar to Call of the Dead from Call of Duty Black Ops, Mob of the Dead will feature four new playable characters, as players try to escape from the prison when Alactraz Island is suddenly been overrun with zombies. The four playable characters are voiced by Hollywood actors and include Joe Pantolian as Albert "The Weasel" Arlington, Ray Liotta as Billy Handsome, Michael Madsen as Michael "Finn" O'Leary, and Chazz Palminteri as Salvatore "Sal" DeLuca.
