Bummer. I opened my email today and this is what I found from the Texas Rangers.

"We're sorry that you were not selected for the Rangers Opening Day Ticket Opportunity. We regret to inform you that your entry in the 2012 Opening Day Ticket Opportunity was not selected. A total of 136,800 fans registered for this opportunity. In order to offer everyone the chance to purchase 2 tickets for Opening Day, it would require 273,600 seats - almost 6 times the capacity of Rangers Ballpark!

Happy National Margarita Day DFW!

DFW loves its margaritas. I'm pretty confident that Texas holds bragging rights when it comes to who makes the best.

And if you want to get technical, DFW is where Mariano Martinez invented the frozen margarita machine. Frozen margaritas were growing in popularity. His bartenders couldn't keep up with the demand and *poof* -- a genius idea was born and the rest is frozen in history.

Seasons 52 Adds Valentine's Day Mini Indulgence to the Menu

I love everything about Seasons 52 -- and not just because it's February.

I love that it's a fresh grill restaurant (translation: healthy and yummy) with 63 wines by the glass. I love how it constantly changes to menu to celebrate the seasonal changes. I heart that there's nothing on the menu over 475 calories. And now, Seasons 52 even wants to celebrate Valentine's Day too? Can it get any better?!

Have a Heart: Wear Red on Friday

February 3 is National Wear Red Day. The American Heart Association created this special day as part of an awareness program for heart disease -- the number-one killer of women in the United States.

People across DFW are teaming up to show support for women's heart health. Even the multicolored lights on the Dallas Omni Hotel were turned to red Thursday night and they will remain red on Friday as a show of support.
