It's Valentine's Day Weekend in Detroit, which means it's your last chance to find and/or woo your sweetheart.

There are several events around town in honor of Valentine's Day. For instance, Successfully Single is hosting a Singles' Valentine Ball on Saturday (February 11th) at the San Marino Club in Troy. A Top 40s DJ will keep the records spinning and a Find the Key to Your Heart Icebreaker will kick off the party by letting you meet the other singles attending. Dance to midnight and graze on the Hors d'oeuvre buffet. The price is $12 at the door for members / $15 for nonmembers.

Exotic Sports Cars at 2012 Detroit Auto Show: Falcon F7

Last year's concept car led directly to this year's production model for Falcon Motor Sports. Designed by Jeff Lemke, the Falcon F7 - a high-performance sports car - turned heads and brought out checkbooks at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show. The first actual production model (the first of 10 expected in the Falcon F7 Series 1) is on display at the 2012 show. At the close of the show, it will then be delivered to its new owner.

Volkswagen E-Bugster Concept Car at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show

Volkswagen's E-Bugster Concept Car had its world debut at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show. The all-electric, sportier-looking Beetle has a 100 mile range and runs on a lithium-ion battery (Blue-e motion electric drive unit) situated beneath the trunk and back bench. The battery can charge up to 80 percent capacity in just 30 minutes.

Smart-for-us at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show

Smart introduced the smart-for-us, an all-electric, urban pick-up truck otherwise known as its "Mobility Concept." It can accommodate two people and has 11.6 cubic feet of cargo space. In fact, the cargo bed is just big enough to accommodate two electric bikes (also produced by Smart). The mini pick up can reach 75-80 mph.
