Florida State Fair Opens Its Gates

It's time for the fair! The Florida State Fair opens its gates this Thursday, February 9, in Tampa.

Last year, the Florida State Fair adopted a new slogan — "The Best Time of the Year" — to be used consistently to represent the fair brand. And, it really is the best time of the year! The fair does have it going on... whether it's pig races, Elvis impersonators, cloggers or concerts. Of course, let's not forget the gut-wrenching rides, corn dogs, cotton candy and things fried that you never thought could be fried, and you've got a great day of fun. The fair runs through Monday, February 20, 2012.
