One of my favorite golf destination in the Caribbean is, and always will be, the Islands of the Bahamas (Yes, yes, I know, the Bahamas are not a part of the Caribbean at all, but who cares? It's great place to go play golf). Consistent sunshine makes Golf in the Bahamas the ideal choice for a golf vacation or group outing. There is no winter season to limit play, just year-round blue skies and warm weather. Nassau averages seven hours of completely sunny skies per day, and rain seldom lasts for longer than it takes to get under cover, even during the rainy season. An average winter temperature of 70° means the grass is always green and you can Play Golf in the Bahamas 365 days a year.

Dove Mountain, AZ - The Accenture Match Play Championship, Feb. 20-26, 2012

Just days away now, the WGC Accenture Match Play Championship which will be played February 20-26, 2012 at the Ritz-Carleton, Dove Mountain, Tucson, AZ, a stunning desert resort with 27 holes of golf set out in three nines - the Tortolita, Saguaro and Wild Burro. Cinnamon Hill Golf Club, Rose Hall, Montego Bay, Jamaica.

The image above is of the 5th and 7th holes at Cinnamon Hill at Rose Hall, Montego Bay, Jamaica. Is that not a stunning view? The Cinnamon hill golf course, located on the Rose Hall plantation, is an ocean-front, tropical golf course with roots that date back to the Golden Era of sail and exploration. The 18-hole layout plays 6,828 yards from the back tees for a par of 72. Cinnamon Hill is one of Jamaica's finest, and a great destination for that once-in-a-lifetime golf/family vacation. The CasaBlanca Golf Course in Mesquite Nevada

The CasaBlanca Golf Course in Mesquite, Nevada, is not just a golf course, it's a wildlife sanctuary too. The layout at CasaBlanca winds through some of the region's most stunning natural desert wetlands with views of the surrounding Virgin River Mountains. Wetlands? In the desert? It's hard to believe, but true; no less than 13 of the 18 holes at CasaBlanca play either over or around water hazards. My review of CasaBlanca rounds out the golfing opportunities in the Mesquite area. If you're heading for a golf outing in Las Vegas, I highly recommend you visit Mesquite for a couple of days, and rounds. It's not so far away, just a little more than an hour, and there's plenty of places to stay with courses right on the property. As for CasaBlanca, please... read my review.

Falcon Ridge Golf Club, Mesquite, Nevada

The Falcon Ridge Golf Club in Mesquite, Nevada is another of those short but sweet, and extraordinarily beautiful, layouts the desert around Las Vegas is so famous for. Falcon Ridge is one of the nine layouts that make up the Golf Mesquite Nevada partnership. The golf course plays a little longer than 6,500 yards from the tips for a par of 71, but this golf course offers not only a very enjoyable round of golf, it is laid out over some of the most spectacular scenery in the Virgin River valley.
