View the Academy Awards at Local Theater This Sunday

Oscar Night. It's an evening of glitz and glamour and one that movie fans anticipate all year. If you'd like to kick it up a notch this year, experience the awards show on the big screen. Goodrich Quality Theaters at Hamilton Town Center in Noblesville is offering the opportunity to watch the Oscars live for free in the large theater. Participants are encouraged to dress up for the experience and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests can have their photo taken and will have a chance to win door prizes. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and at 7 p.m., the Red Carpet Live show will begin. The 84th Annual Academy Awards begin at 8:30 p.m.

Visit the Children's Museum Free on President's Day

Colts Head Coach Announced

It is the first head coaching job for Pagano, whose NFL career has included assistant positions with the Oakland Raiders and Cleveland Browns prior to his work with the Baltimore Ravens.

Giants and Patriots Headed for Indy

After yesterday's championship games, we now know that the New York Giants and New England Patriots are headed to Indianapolis in less than two weeks. My initial response was that at least those two teams and their fans will be used to cold weather and perhaps will be more comfortable in Indianapolis in February. I know many Colts fans are not enthusiastic about the Patriots and of course many feel that in lieu of Peyton playing, at least we get his little brother playing in the Super Bowl.

Tiffany & Co. has done it. They have found a way to get men to flock to their jewelry store with their wives! Next Friday, January 27, the Vince Lombardi Super Bowl trophy will be on display at the Indianapolis Tiffany & Co. store from 10 - 11 a.m. For one hour, visitors can view the trophy up close. The sterling silver trophy was created by Tiffany.
