Review of Kartis Visible Bill Change

Here's a gimmicked prop that allows you to quickly transform a piece of paper into a dollar bill. It's a fast and visual effect.

"Kartis Visible Bill Change" was actually released over a year ago and I thought that I had formally reviewed it. I was recently working on a "video demo" and when I searched for my review, I couldn't find it. So here's "catching up."

The product looks great in its promotional video, but I think there are many things to consider before purchasing it. And is it better than relying on a Pat Page style gimmick (Hundy 500, Heiny 500 or Prophet) or the Kozlowski method? I think not.

Video Demo of Cash Flow

In my latest video demo, I perform "Cash Flow," a marketed trick. This quick effect allows you to turn a paper check into paper currency.

In my review I said "I generally like the visual nature of the "Cash Flow" transformation, but prefer effects that allow me to create and present more of a routine. For this reason, I'll be sticking with my Kozlowski technique and Patrick Page gimmick." I have to admit that the effect looks good in my demo.

Review of Fourfit

I've seen lots of torn and restored playing card effects. But Reuben Moreland's "Fourfit" seemingly stands above the rest. Not only does it look fantastic - as if the pieces are melding together - but you apparently show both sides of the playing card as it's being restored. This one is excellent and it's not overly difficult.
