Just about every bar and restaurant will be hosting some sort of special for the upcoming All-Star Weekend. The biggest crowd will most likely be at Wall Street Plaza starting on Thursday 2/23/12 at 9PM. Throughout the weekend, games will be shown on the 16 foot LET TV, the evening will host Dunk competitions drink specials. Friday the block party starts at 5pm, Saturday and Sunday at noon.

Bar specials are not limited to the downtown area or the usual bars - both Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar locations (Dr. Phillips and Winter Park) will be extending the popular 5 for $6 'til 7 discounted Bar Menu. This Friday, Saturday and Sunday visit either restaurant and enjoy the reduced prices on great appetizers and cocktails until 10pm.

As if one internationally acclaimed a cappella group wasn't enough, Orlando based quintet, 42Five will be joining Los Angeles based sextet, M-Pact in a show that is sure to make Valentines Day wish it took place on February 12, 2012. That's the Sunday when both groups will grace the stage at the Darden Adventure theater located within the Orlando Science Center.

Fantasy of Flight Celebrates National Black History Month

Three Tuskegee Airmen, African American veterans of World War II and former combat pilots of the P51 fighter plane recently portrayed in the movie "Red Tails", will reunite at at Fantasy of Flight on February 9 - 11, 2012. The event features the distinguished Airmen -- Leo Gray, 91, Ft. Lauderdale, who served as a consultant on the recently released "Red Tails" film, as well as Daniel Keel, 89, Leesburg and George Hardy, 86, Sarasota.

In honor of Black History Month, the "Legends & Legacies Symposium Series" kicks off with "They Dared to Fly," in which three of the remaining Tuskegee Airman, the first African Americans to be trained as WWII military pilots, will reunite at Fantasy of Flight to share their recollections of wartime military service during segregated America. Of the original group of nearly 1,000 trained pilots and 15,000 ground personnel that made up the Tuskegee Airmen, roughly 50 pilots and 200 ground crew are alive today.
