Well, officially it's an indefinite hiatus, but these things have the tendency to last indefinitely, so it may be best to assume that's that, and then you won't be disappointed down the road. He was 68.</p> <p>While with the MC5, Davis helped create an explosive sound that would pave the way for punk rock in the states.
