Japan Gets (Almost) Naked in Bizarre Festival

In any other country, this would be the strangest festival of all.

In Japan, I'm not even sure it cracks the top 10. But it's still pretty weird when you see thousands of men strip down to fight for a pair of sticks in a quest to be named "Lucky Man of the Year."

These are the women, by the way -- and although they don't compete for the sticks, as you can see they still get into the nearly-naked spirit of things at the Saidaiji Temple in Okayama, Japan.

Mitt Romney's New Santorum Problem

Mitt Romney is having a Santorum problem -- and it's not just the fact that his rival is surging in the polls.

Just as former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum's last name has been given a gross new definition visible whenever someone does a Google search for it, Mitt Romney has now found his own surname bogged down in some unpleasant alternative meanings.

The satirical new definition is tied to a 1983 incident in which he tied the family dog's pet carrier to the roof of the car for a long road trip. Eventually, the dog did what doggies do -- and the remains of that doggie do were smeared all over the car.

As a result, his name is now being used online as a verb meaning "to defecate in terror."

All I can say is, at least it's not as bad as the one for Santorum -- you'll have to Google that one yourself, I can't even print it here.

World's Most Expensive Mini Cooper in Unusual Car Swap

It's the weirdest trade-in in auto history: The world's most expensive Mini Cooper was swapped for a knitted Ferrari made from 12 miles of wool.

And it wasn't easy.

Being on one of the top floors of the Ripley's Believe It or Not! museum in London's Piccadilly Circus, the Mini Cooper had to lifted through an air vent, out the roof and into the sky -- and the wool Ferrari had to go in via the same route.

The Mini Cooper -- studded with more than a million Swarovski crystals forming images of American icons -- is the most expensive Mini in the world, valued at more than $1.5 million... so as you can imagine, a lot of breaths were being held as the car was lifted out of the building and into the sky.

The Weirdest Things You Never Knew About Mitt Romney

It's no secret: Mitt Romney is having a hard time getting the conservative wing of his party to back him.

But then again, convincing others has always been a bit of a challenge for Romney - going all the way back to his days as a Mormon missionary in France.

"We didn't convert one person," he admitted recently.

I suppose he was trying to show how he persevered -- but it was a weird moment in an election cycle that's been full of weird moments.

Naked News: Olivia Munn Bares All in Anti-Fur Campaign

Actress and TV host Olivia Munn is known for wearing some pretty weird and even outrageous costumes, like slave Princess Leia.

And of course, there's the time she dressed as a French Maid and dived into a big bowl of pudding.

But lately, she's taken to wearing her most eye-catching getup yet: Nothing at all.

Munn is working with the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals in campaigns against the circus as well as fur -- and in a series of new ads, she's been taking it all to show why she'd "rather go naked than wear fur."
